SALUTO UFFICIALE DEL PRESIDENTE DELLA COMUNITA’ MONTANA ALTA VALTELLINA E SINDACO DI VALDIDENTRO AVVOCATO EZIO TRABUCCHI
	Con estremo piacere, a nome della Comunità Montana Alta Valtellina e dell’Amministrazione Comunale di Valdidentro, porgo un caloroso saluto ed un cordiale benvenuto a tutti i partecipanti ai Mondali Under 23 di sci di fondo, che si disputeranno a metà febbraio sulla pista Viola di Valdidentro, recentemente  qualificata con la realizzazione dello Ski Stadium. Non è la prima volta che l’Alta Valtellina ospita appuntamenti agonistici di alto livello, grazie alla presenza di impianti sempre più adeguati ed alla capacità organizzativa dello Sci Club e della Pro Loco locale. Voglio quindi da subito rivolgere un tributo di sincera gratitudine a tutti coloro che hanno contribuito alla preparazione di questo evento, alla FISI che, ancora una volta, ha individuato la nostra realtà come la sede di importanti manifestazioni sportive. Mi auguro che, nello splendido scenario ambientale dell’Alta Valtellina, terra peraltro in cui la disciplina del fondo è indubbiamente radicata, i Mondiali Under 23 possano rappresentare per i giovani atleti un’occasione significativa di crescita umana e sportiva e per la Comunità locale un momento particolare in cui dimostrare l’ospitalità e l’amicizia della nostra gente.

	Es freut mich, als Vertreter von Comunità Montana Alta Valtellina und von der Gemeindeverwaltung Valdidentro, Euch zu grüßen und herzlich willkommen zu heißen. Dieser Gruß ist an alle Teilnehmer der Langlaufweltmeisterschaften Under 23 gerichtet, die Mitte Februar auf der  Loipe Viola in Valdidentro stattfinden werden.  Die Loipe hat sich neulich dank des Ski Stadiums verbessert. Es ist nicht das erste Mal, dass Oberveltlin wichtige erstklassige Wettbewerbe aufnimmt; das geschieht dank der geeigneten Skianlagen und der ausgezeichneten Organisation des hiesigen Ski Clubs  und des Tourismusbüros (Pro Loco). Ich möchte mich also sofort mit denjenigen bedanken, die an der Vorbereitung dieses Ereignisses teilgenommen haben und mit FISI, die noch einmal unsere Gegend als Ortschaft für wichtige Sportveranstaltungen gewählt hat. Ich wünsche, dass die Weltmeisterschaften Under 23 in dieser herrlichen, für den Langlauf am besten geeignete Landschaft eine gute Möglichkeit für alle darstellen können. Ich wünsche, dass die jungen Sportler bedeutende Schritte sowohl im persönlichen als auch im sportlichen Bereich machen können und dass es sich um eine gute Gelegenheit für unsere Gemeinschaft handelt, die Gastfreundschaft unserer Leute zu zeigen.

	On behalf of the Comunità Montana Alta Valtellina and of the Valdidentro Town Council I’m happy to welcome everybody taking  part to the  Cross Country World Cup Under 23 competitions hosted, in  mid-February, by the Viola track in the Valdidentro which has recently been improved with the realization of  the new ski stadium. This is not the first time Alta Valtellina hosts high level competitions also thanks to its  modern sports grounds and of  the organising skill of the local Ski Club and of the Pro Loco (Tourist Office). First of all I would like to thank everybody making this event possible and FISI that once more singled out our area for very important sport competitions. I hope that in the beautiful scenery of Alta Valtellina, where cross-country ski is a deeply rooted discipline, the Under 23 World Cup competition will represent to the young athletes a chance of growth both as sportsmen and as human beings and to the local Community an opportunity to show the hospitality and friendship of our people.
